Gerry McKenna passes
It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of Gerry Mckenna. A great musician
and a lovely man who we will all remember as a dear friend.

As we were playing in Inverness a week or so ago, a film crew arrived and asked if they could film us?
We agreed, they filmed for about half an hour and then we recorded an interview. This was for a cultural programme being filmed for Chinese Television. They were over in Scotland for a few weeks and their filming not only included the famous castles and glens but the music, food, history and everyday lives of the Scottish people. The programme will be shown in the near future.
It was a few days later when in conversation with the liaison officer in London I was told the programme that we will be taking part in is very popular and has an average viewing figure of 800 million.
"I'm glad they never mentioned that when they were filming.;-)"
