Gerry McKenna passes

It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of Gerry Mckenna. A great musician and a lovely man who we will all remember as a dear friend.

Dave's Diary

Hello again, I know its been a wee while but we have been busy.
I would like to thank all the people we met during our U.S visit for their support and kindness, it was a pleasure playing for you all.
We will be back in the states in 2004 for more fun and more beer.
Big thanks to Linda our agent in the States for all the hard work she has done for us.
I would also like to thank her for endless supply of beer.
(are you catching a theme here?)
Being in New England in September/October was a far more enjoyable experience than Februarys trip, 1/ we could see colours rather than the blacket of snow which greeted us on our first day and lasted the whole tour.
2/We stayed at Linda's home which was more relaxing than any hotel can ever be.
She also had lots of free beer (did I mention that before?)
The band have now got a new local, Grumpy's Bellingham M.A
where we relaxed with a few (you've guessed it)
anyway once again thanks to all concerned, the Veneus and Organizers, the Sound Control engineers, the Roadies, and of course the bar staff.
All the best

Magazine Items

The September issue of Celtic Beat Magazine has a 6 page interview that was conducted on the previous tour in February, as well as a review of "Dark Island." Thanks for everything Art and Joanne.

Also, "Celtic Heritage Magazine" from Halifax, Nova Scotia conducted an interview this tour that will be appearing in their November issue in Canada.

U.S. Fall Tour 2003

The band just completed their fall tour in the U.S. and it was a great success. They were well received everywhere we went and it was a lot of fun for me as well, but sad to have had to say goodbye until the next time. Thank you to all the people we met along the way......I'm sure we'll be seeing you all again. The next tour is in June and we'll be pushing further out into the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states as well as central Canada in February. Be patient........we'll get to other parts of the country in time.
